gr_und

gr_und project space is a nonprofit, artist-run venue located in the Wedding district of Berlin, dedicated to the materialization of curated concepts through multidisciplinary methods. The space serves as a platform for experimentation, challenging the status quo of the commercial art world by utilizing visual art, performance, sound, and linguistics.

The project operates through various media outlets, including exhibitions, workshops, live web radio, and an open-source art library. gr_und actively accepts proposals and welcomes contributions such as zines, books, records, videos, and other ephemera.

The team, which includes James Verhille, Sophia Trollmann, Damien Sayer, and Cédric Mantel, facilitates these activities to foster artistic dialogue and community engagement.

Opening hours: Thursday & Friday 15:00–19:00, Saturday 14:00–18:00.
